TZO Support - 550 Sender verify failed error; can not send mail through OMR
When a specific message always seems to fail in OMR, yet you can send a test message through OMR just fine.
"Sender Verify Fail" is a specific error which means "could not verify that the FROM: address is valid". If your email's From: field contains a domain name which is not valid, can not be looked up in DNS, or the domain exists but the mailbox does not (example: noreply@example.com) then the message will not be accepted by OMR.
Example Causes or Things To Check * From: field's email address must contain a valid domain name (ie, not "noreply@noreply") * From: field's email address, the @domain.com must have healthy nameservers and not return DNS lookup errors. * From: field's email address domain, the domain must have a valid MX record. * From: field's email address domain, the MX record address must be resolvable and can be contacted on SMTP port 25 * From: field's address MX server must respond that the sender mailbox actually exists.
Normal office or personal email of the type OMR service is intended for, should never contain an invalid From: field, so these checks help keep the OMR service running smoothly.
