Don S, a TZO userTZO blows me away. It took me all of five minutes to set it up, worked the first time, and it's fast! It's perhaps the best $25 I've ever spent!

TZO Support - Do I need an Update Client?
This answer depends on your setup.
If you host network services ON an Internet connection which uses a dynamic IP for the WAN (shared Internet IP), then yes you will need to ensure that your domain name always "points at" (resolves to) that Internet IP. Every time your ISP changes your connection's IP, you will need your domain name to point to the new IP address. An Update Client monitors your ISP connection and does this updating for you. While it is possible to update your DNS record in the TZO web Control Panel, you would not want to do this every time your Internet IP changes...
If your network's WAN or Internet IP address is static, you do not need an Update Client - using the TZO web Control Panel you can simply update the TZO DNS database one time.
For the purposes of this answer, there is no major difference between the TZO client for your computer, and a TZO client provided by your router manufacturer. Do not configure your domain in more than one Update Client as this will cause conflict problems.
