TZO Support - How do I fix the "gnomeConf.sh file in /usr/lib... not found" error?

TZO Gnome client: gnomeConf.sh not found during compile

While attempting to compile TZO-GNOME on Linux or *BSD, you may see the following error:

checking for gnome-config... no checking for gnomeConf.sh file in /usr/lib... not found configure: error: Could not find the gnomeConf.sh file that is generated by gnome-libs install

This error is caused by unsatisfied build dependencies. The following source code packages are required to compile:

  • gtk-1.2-devel
  • gnome-canvas-devel
  • gnome-libs-devel
  • imlib-devel
  • After configuring and verifying your installation, please let TZO Support know what distribution and release version of Linux you use, so we can track usage.
