Outbound Mail Relay - Improved/Simplified Quotas (more free email)
The TZO OMR policy with regard to "Monthly Quota" has been lifted.
Under the old policy, on a OMR5K plan you would be permitted to burst up to 250 message units per day.. but if you did so for 20 straight days you would be unable to send any more email for the rest of the month, because Monthly Quota would having been met. This model proved too complex for estimating one's email needs.
So what did we do? We eliminated the Monthly Quota altogether. The maxiumum Daily Quota used to be a short term ceiling, but now it is full time every day. So for example on OMR5K you can send those 250 emails per day every day of the month with no surprises. These improvements mean your current OMR plan can now send an additional 30% more email, free!
Hourly Quota is also improved, and less likely to be noticed: Hourly is simply 50% of the Daily Quota.
The new OMR Quotas are as follows:
| Service | Max. emails/day | Max. emails/hour | Annual price |
|---|---|---|---|
| OMR 2K | 100 | 50 | $49.95 |
| OMR 5K | 250 | 125 | $99.95 |
| OMR 10K | 500 | 250 | $139.95 |
| OMR 20K | 1,000 | 500 | $199.95 |
